■Non-Ply Yarn
This is made by wrapping a special soluble yarn in the opposite direction
of the twist and then dissolving that yarn after weaving the towel to untwist
the cotton yarn. This method is used mainly for the pile. The pile plumps
up softly because lots of air is captured between the fibers, resulting
in a very soft feel and lightness despite its voluminous appearance.Because
the yarn has been untwisted, this may have slightly more shedding of fluff
during washing than towels made with standard cotton yarn.

Development of unique materials - Non-ply yarn with minimal fluff: Zero
Twist XUsing high-quality San Joaquin cotton as a base and a special thermal-bonded
fiber added to the core, this zero twist yarn has little fluff loss. Because
of this, the texture stays mostly consistent even if laundered several
times. This material is created through collaboration with Kurabo Industries
Ltd.
